Still two days to go until the end of the month, and we’ve already had more visitors this month than any other since the forum was launched. So far, there have been 872 unique visitors to the site in July.
Keep up the good work.

The forum is restored!
I’ll try to keep it up and running but I don’t yet fully understand the reasons for the outage. Please bear with me if we have further problems.
Welcome back.
Apologies for the current service outage. If you’re reading this, you’ll know I’ve restored service on this part of the site, but I still need to do some more work to get the forum back online. In the mean time, all I can say is, “normal service will be resumed as soon as possible”.
Thanks for your patience.
And thank you for your continued support for the Ferndale Wales forum at http://forum.ferndale-wales.co.uk/. We had 622 unique visitors to the site in February and we’re already up to 52 today, the first day of March. The more you post, the more people will come to visit.
Thanks again, and keep up the good work.
Alan
There are many more people visiting the site now. There were 573 unique visitors in January and already there have been 82 in February. Hopefully we should see new members start to rise soon also. So far, we’re up to 15.
… and thanks to all those of you who have helped me test this discussion forum. All the postings you’ve added will increase traffic to the site as people search for the things you’ve talked about. We’re now getting about 60 hits a day now.
Meanwhile, welcome jasondavies, our 10th registered user.

Well, a big “thank you” to those of you who have helped me test this site and check that it’s fit for purpose. Since you all seem to be happy with it, let’s see what everyone else thinks. I’ll make it public in just a few mintues.
Get chatting!

Welcome back to ferndale-wales.co.uk! As one who mourned the passing of the old ferndale-wales.co.uk site, I thought I’d try to resurrect at least a discussion forum like the one that was so popular on the old site.
I’ll be forever in the debt of the old site’s forum for putting me in touch with a second cousin from Ferndale, and for allowing me to discover the location of the Bristol Tump which my mother and father often told me about when I was young.
So, to begin with at least, I’ll use this site to host the new Ferndale Wales discussion forum to see if we can get the chat going again.
I have no previous experience of running a site like this so bear with me. As I gain experience, I may fine tune a few things but I aim to keep the site running.
