This website was made possible through a Family Learning Grant and was built over a period of 9 weekly 2 hour sessions.

The website team

Rob who took the class had a few words to say:

I would like to give a special thanks to all my fellow budding webmasters.
Although, we only had some 18 hours to put this website together it would not have been possible without the hard work and enthusiasm of everyone that took part. Every week come rain or shine the class was full of dedicated parents and children with history books, sketches and fresh ideas. The welcoming and relaxed atmosphere made it a pleasure to attend and it’s true that they do "keep a welcome in the valleys".
Although, the class has now finished, this is only the start of the Ferndale-Wales website. From this basis more ideas will come and I hope that we can all get together sometime in the New Year to put forward additions to the website so that it is ever changing and improving.
